Meet Our Aqua Team Research Head
We are pleased to introduce Dr. T. Marudhupandi has been involved in the field of Aquaculture and Pharmaceutical for the past 15 years. His research area has largely been focused on the development of molecular markers, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer drug, feed supplements, fish nutrition, shrimp farming, disease management, screening and commercial production of probiotics. He has worked in several reputed academic institutions and industries in India such as Scientist at Sathyabama University, Assistant Project Manager at Rajiv Gandhi Centre Aquaculture, Head of R&D at Hi-Tech Vet Pharma, Director of R&D at Ideal Biosciences Pvt. Ltd., and Project Scientist at the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources to name a few.
He has also served as a Principal Investigator for two international projects funded by the Rufford foundation, U.K., and an Indo-Japan collaborative project for improving the growth and disease resistance of shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei.

Dr. T. Marudhupandi has been awarded the prestigious DST-SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Indian Government. His research's key findings were disseminated in several reputable national and international journals.

For the aquaculture Industry, he has developed several active formulations/products to combat the main diseases that affect shrimp production, growth promoters, marine polymers-based nanomaterials, and probiotics.
Dr. T. Marudhupandi is currently guiding force behind the R&D at Qualitech Products and Services, Chennai.
